When you book a session with one of our therapists, you can be assured that you will be seen at the scheduled time without having a long wait. Should you arrive early, our waiting area has a comfortable atmosphere with lots of reading material as well as fresh coffee or tea. Our front desk staff will be pleased to provide any assistance.
To ensure that you receive the best possible service, you will be asked before each session to complete a one-minute rating scale of your well-being over the previous week. Your therapist will review this with you at the start of the session. During the session, you can expect to be listened to attentively; have your issues and concerns addressed in a professional manner; and have a clear direction and specific next steps for follow-up. At or near the end of each session, your therapist will ask you to complete a one-minute session rating form and give your feedback on the session.
We make every effort to suit your needs in scheduling the sessions. We accommodate evening appointments (Monday to Thursday until 8:00 p.m.) as well as Saturday appointments upon request.
Duration of Appointments
Typically appointments last about an hour but initial sessions often require an extra 15-30 minutes to allow for completion of administrative forms.
Frequency of Appointments
We strongly encourage clients to schedule the first four or five sessions about once-a-week. We also accommodate, upon special request, individuals who require special arrangements (such as longer sessions scheduled differently).
